  into early next week, followed by a chance of rain coming by
  mid week.

Brilliant sunshine is helping melt the snowpack, and this
weekend will have warmer temperatures to further its demise.
Expect above freezing highs climbing thru the 30s tmrw, 40s
Sunday, 50s Monday, and then maybe even a few 60 degree readings
(mainly south) heading into the mid week, which is when our
next chance of rain arrives. A dry wave makes passage early this
weekend, and then another one makes passage across the lower
Mississippi Valley early next week, but we stay dry with it too.
It`s the next one that moves thru Wednesday that will have a
chance of rain attached to its approach and passage. It has
flirted with a possibility of thunder, but the 12Z modeling
suggests it`s just a little too stable, and a little too dry,
for its inclusion today; won`t be shocked if it reappears but
it`ll be an iffy/small chance if there is one at all. After
that, the 6-10 and 8-14 day both return below normal
temperatures.

VFR TAFs will continue through the next 24 hours. High pressure
centered over the region will bring light and variable winds
through the morning before winds increase from the southwest
around 5 kts in the afternoon. An upper level disturbance will
pass through the region today but is only expected to bring
high level clouds.
